Hurting people, a NO NO. Do not be another Chee.
Why are you attacking people and family member? Please don’t tell you are not. Faces, Names put up practically so identical.

We should always in everyway attack the system and not the people. It is so unethical.

Saying ACP is bad, I think your blog is worst. Not comical at all. Just purely venting of your anger and hurting people.

There are certain grounds to work on if employees are not treated fairly. Definitely not the way you people are putting in this blog..

I believe you people are talented with vision in mind. Wouldn’t it be better if your time be spent on acquiring new skills, knowledge to put fore in your new employer ‘s company.

Encountering this type of company will be a stepping stone in life. There will be companies similar if not, worst then this, are you going to come out blog after blog like this.

Why not you start a company with the victims of this so call ACP to challenge their business and show them what is real professional IT Training company. Hopefully you can win them on good grounds, targeting good and sound system of company and not attacking people.

I believe that is how Singapore works, a system that works, if not improve on it.

If your team is an excellent one. People will be head hunting you all.

It is actually a blessing in disguise, whereby there is a reference of which you may come out strong.

This blog is only helping to create awareness of how bad ACP can get.

I was in ACP and i know how the Management bully people and ill treat people. If the company is good, why is there so many people quitting though there is a 3 months Compensation Penalty? The contract is in the Company Favour and definately unflavorable to the employee..

Use your brain. Dont use your emotion.

You are 100% one of the poh members in ACP. You don keep promise and use all means to setup people lose jobs make people compensate salaries due to their jobs performance. Make people do all kind of shit works in the first place.

No Bonus, No Job Incentives..
Can any1 stand up tell me that you really gt bonus and incentives that worked with them for two years. i can tell u honestly ~ NOONE.

I was hoping that you can continue the cause without bringing innocent family members.

Something you have done great if you are the blogmaster that you have taken out the racial remarks made by someone.

We are living in Singapore of which sentitive comments like that will not be beneficial to your main cause.

Sorry, I am not 100% ACP. However, I am 100% Singaporean.

We should raise every single example that exist in ACP that is not fair. That will be actually attacking their "System". As Kisi said to raise awareness which I support that, but I was hoping not to bring in personal attacks.

Very damaging to the main cause.

To the anonymous (first post):

Its not really wrong to blog up in this case, because what these trainers are facing is one very unique company who really treats staff unfairly.

Lets put aside other small stuff that the company implements that can easily be a laughing stock at chit-chat sessions and talk about the main issue that irks this company.

The main issue is the compensation fee of 3x salary which the company implements.......that was it really meant to be profitable or just a scheme to protect the company? In my 2 years i see that its a profitable scheme for the company.

Why do i see it this way? Because if 4 or 5 trainers leave yearly, its normal and probably due to trainer's issue, but when 4 or 5 trainers leave monthly, making up to 60 trainers leave in a year, thats PROFITABLE. when i mean leave, it means "breaking of contract" a very famous talking point in ACP.

(common topic)When people ask,

a: Have xx left?
b: yes
a: Oh, DID HE PAY???Break contract ar?

Breaking the contract and pay 3x salary which easily goes up to at least $4000 is not a small sum for a 18-19 yr old (im quoting the youngest possible trainer). So touch ur heart, when u are ethically very wrong for a educationist, dont turn the arrow around to shoot the bloggers who are just expressing their feel.

Maybe try putting urself in other people's shoe will be good. Afterall i see that Poh's are a strong buddhist family which means you all believe in Karma? I mean personally i believe u guys are pretty okay people, just that money and the survival in this business have blinded u guys.

Still i must say integrity>money at least to some stage. ACP is not doing badly, so kindly give the staff some credit.

1. Dont hire the staff you feel are not capable just thinking that there is a chance of getting the compensation.

2. Dont throw every bad job to the managers, thinking you have done no wrong. The biggest wrong is always the Boss.

3. Dont cheat immorally and cover up with some right ways (Like as if on paper you have no wrong.. there are many occasions to describe)

4. Dont be selfish, help the staff grow and not just the company to grow.

I just left ACP not long ago,

Lets compare life outside, but ill be fair to say im in a really good company, so im lucky, there could be worser companies out there but supposedly not to the extend of acp.

Point 1: Working late (IN ACP)

ACP has no overtime policy, but yet its always at 5.30pm-6pm at many occasions i get requests to work on

Boss: I need you to do this task, urgent.
Good Staff: Ermm okay....(Ill just let boss know that im doing this extra for the company, maybe is one in a while)........

Now this is what some good staff thinks but in ACP, u end up getting repeated of these requests and not appreciated. To some extend you will come back on Sundays. I initially gave in and stayed back, but realizing how bad the company is, i started giving excuses to make my way back on the dot. Nobody owns you anything acp, dont expect it. Pay for it. You pay peanuts, you can nutty workers/performance.

Bad Staff: Err boss, i got IPPT training tonite leh hehehe(Kevin's famous excuse).

or

i got school tonite leh (many trainers famouse excuse lols).

Boss: Tsk, OKOK. (Hmm actually the thing is not urgent but now i know this person cannot work late. Tmr will hamtam him more work see how he tahan)

Usually bad staff will not stay long in ACP. They can get picked easily..........(ill share a story after this to illustrate).

Point 1: Working late (In new company; No OT Policy)

Have been in my new company for some time. Company been through renovation, systems upgrade, ERP systems implementation. YET each time i get a request at 5.30 pm it sounds like that,

BOSS: Hey, i need you to do this xxx, oh but its 5.30pm already. Do it tommorow if you can okay?

Staff: Okay can.

Initially i thought "Tommorow" was being sarcastic because i was brought up at ACP environment, but later i realized its a genuine case, becase similarly there is no overtime policy. Any overtime is actually chargable, and since you dont want to pay for it, dont beg and ask for free stuff. Every professional is chargable.

I remembered once due to really urgent matter, i had to stay late (This was volunteered anyway). Boss later appreciated with a thank you and treated me to dinner.

This is how different the culture is.....doing OT in ACP is first expected and not doing it disposes you as a bad staff. Doing OT in my new company is really a bonus, and will deem you as a hardworking staff.

Point 2: Stationery usage (IN ACP)

Every month, an email will be received that sounds like that:

PAPER USAGE IS VERY HIGH PLEASE SAVE ON YOUR USAGE. DRAW YOUR PAPER FROM xxx dept:

dept a: 500 pages
dept b: 499 pages
dept c: 498 pages

Now tell me, who is going to count how many piece of paper you take lols. Obviously its just a control to let staff know the message "SAVE PAPER". but still its a joke.

Will it ever happen that this message comes:

THIS MONTH PAPER USAGE IS GOOD. ACP THANKS ALL FOR COOPERATION.

Nope it wont :).

I heard there are paper fines implemented these days.

Point 2: Stationery usage (in new company)

Every month i get a email too:

"Do you need any staionery for this month"?

I have since requested for some papers/scotch tapes.

Not once was i rejected the request and till now those items that i took are still actually not used. I had taken them as spare in case so as not to affect my work being lack of stationery.

The bad concept is
ACP management sees how much stationery staff needs and assign as minimal as possible (although the best situation would be that staff predicts it him/herself whats best).

maybe you worked in the 1980s/1990s with such companies. One doesnt exist in 2000+, cuz if it does its closed down.

Point 3: Unfairness treatment

As the story i wanted to share,

There was this good cooperate trainer, bbb, she was doing way beyond her job scope as a trainer, by teaching other certifications that were initially not required and also handling some other matters.

Obviously looking at a good way this is heading for a promotion / pay rise. But this wasnt meant to be. More job, more task, same pay. However she got a reward, being slightly favored by the management. This would made life easier for her till the end of the contract.

There was this other cooperate trainer. Mr. aaa. Im not sure what he did to the management, but what i see he is a really good trainer. He was not favored by the management So i concluded, 3 possible reasons:

1. He is not a gal and probably irritated Eric with his looks. (lol this is lame reason, but this is not first time Eric treating guys)

2. He mixed with the wrong group of people. (You will know if you work for acp ba)

3. ACP was after his 3 months salary. (They got it in the end!)

Other factors could include him being a family man could not OT, he was also studying part time.

Ok.......what happen was short and sweet.

Miss bbb sometimes end the lesson 30 mins-1 hr earlier if need be. Nothing mattered.

Mr. aaa this particular time ended his lesson 30mins-1 hr earlier (His first time trying in fact), and it was for a reasonably good reason. When Eric know of this, he brough Mr. aaa to the room.

He screamed at him like he have killed harry (eric's dad). words like fuck came out all over. The whole office was stunned. This was his first time, it was not needed to do this way.

Anyway to cut short story, he resigned immediately and paid 3 months salary.

To 1st post,
I guess you are not one of the employee of ACP. In case you are not aware, we are not able to set up a company of similar interest as the company. That's against the contract.

If I'm allowed to do so, I'm very happy to take on your suggestion.

This blog has it's flaws, that's the reason why I have not commented in this blog even when I did so in the other blog.

The story told here are mixed with truth and false. Not everything said here are true. And often the stories are told will mixed feelings from the creators of this blog.

I did say that my intention of leaving comments are to encourage victims to voice out. Obviously the management does not like us voicing out publicly and offer us the option of e-mailing to voice out to them. Another objective is to let others know more about this company so that they can stay away from the company UNTIL they have decided to hear us and change their

Nice to know that you have finally leave the company. I do not know who you are, but I guess most likely is someone I know.

ACP is keen to make money. That's their number one objective. They blame everyone else who make mistakes except themselves.

I know YOU are watching and monitoring this blog. And this blog has gone a bit too much by putting up faces and such. But they should not be responsible for it. YOU are.

Here are some suggestions for YOU. It's a suggestion not to be ignore and taken lightly. It's a summary of what the bloggers and people who come to this blog wish that you will do.

Suggestion 1: PLEASE invest more money. You get what you paid for! All these unhappiness come about because you hire cheap people! Sack and compassionate them. Why keep them when they are spoiling your name?

Suggestion 2: Your contract is no longer P&C anymore. This is a result of unhappiness and people start to share what's in their contract. In fact, a lot of companies contract are not P&C. I suggest you do a revision of all employee's contract. A lot of people are voicing their unhappiness about the 3 month compensation, are you sure you still to keep it? I agree that this is in place to protect company interest (and I believe it's not your intention to earn money from it), but 3 month?! Trust me, all YOU need to do is to change this and when people start to realize you hear their voice, and you are sincere in grooming them rather than earning money alone, they will stay. And by changing that alone, you will start to attract more trainers into the company.

As a rule, HP's TA contract goes something like this: Min 1 year contract, on completion of contract, 1 month bonus. If break contract, pay 1 month. Their pay: 1.4 to 1.6k

People doesn't care about titles. They care if they have good salary, can they start a family in the future. Will the company treasure them.

The salary range can stay. But the 3 month must remove and must have bonus!

Suggestion 3:
If the management want to grow, then START to behave like MNC. If YOU continue to manage like SMC, you will forever be SMC!!!

Start by really employ good profession people into the team. HEAR their advice. Manage the company with good indention. and NEVER shout to anyone in the company. Not even behind close door! People remember your words and action! Shouting only cause damage!

Suggestion 4:
YOUR image. There must be reasons why the blogger of this site call you by names and start to decorate your face!

If you want success, then behave like those top shots of MNC. Dress like them, think like them!

The day people (I mean all staff of ACP) "Look You Up"... it's the day this blog will disappear!

Suggestion 5:
Success come with time! Be patience!

Anyway, YOU are too much of yourself... therefore, I don't think any of the above will be implemented.

And if that's the case, expect people to leave for the better. And remember to congrats them when they leave.

I doubt they will change...........they probably know they are ethically wrong, but who cares.

As long as they survive, their family prosper, they do the way their "IT" should be.

As the guy (forget his name), boss of sunlaff once told us in his lesson

"There is no way I can change your mentality as this has been built in to you over the 20 or 30 over years of living experience. Some talking over a day wont change this decades of living exprience"

Very true isnt it? at our age our thinking are already pretty stubborn, u definitely wont admit ur wrong!

Both of you are fantastic. You have definite voice out by attacking the 'System'. This is what I believe a good blog should be. Giving example as well as constructive suggestion. I believe this blog will invite more and more readers to give good constructive ideas too.

This will definitely help to improve the existing IT Staff & Trainers. I really hope the personal attack to keep to minimum for a start.

Will await patiently for the day that this blog disappear.

That day will arrive when the everyone is satisfied with the basic working system.

Nope. They will care to change. Not for us, but for a better system because a company need to grow well and expand. Singapore is too small.

I'll just post a short comments. I'm not sure if they are still mointoring this blog or not, I seriously hope they are. This blog does a lot of damage to the image of the company, and I'm sure they are aware of it. If this blog contain 100% truth, I'll support it all the way, but it's a mixture of truth and false information.

Most likely they are being hurt by the company, but who isn't? Even when I post comments, I'll to be as acturate as possible. But I do admit that sometimes I post with with emontions...

I do hope they will reflect on themselves... It's easy to start something, but it's hard to maintain it. All people make mistake, that include all of us.

If they know they are at wrong, good. Still got hope for the company. Else, time will determine how far they can go.
